This year, MWBLSA (Midwest BLSA) placed an emphasis on the quality of programs rather than the amount of programs a given chapter has hosted. WashU’s BLSA chapter checked both boxes. By planning a good amount of events aligned with the mission of NBLSA (National BLSA), BLSA’s events were geared toward community service, social action, professional development, etc. This programming allowed WashU BLSA to be awarded Large Chapter of the Year over 5 Midwest schools: Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Indiana University- Indianapolis Robert H. McKinney School of Law , Indiana University- Mauer School of Law,
Marquette University Law School , and University of Michigan Law School. Way to go BLSA!
