Join the conversation with attorney Addison Litton, Litigation Counsel at Zoom Video Communications. Addison spent her early career in Big Law at Cooley LLP’s Silicon Valley office in the firm’s business litigation group. There, she represented a wide variety of clients from start-ups to multinational and Fortune-500 companies in matters spanning from corporate and regulatory investigations, to privacy and securities class actions, to employment litigation. She maintained an active pro bono practice as well, including advocating for prisoners’ rights in a series of class action lawsuits against local counties for the poor conditions of their jails.
In 2021, she took a role in-house at Zoom Video Communications as Litigation Counsel where she manages various lawsuits and commercial disputes involving Zoom and advises the business on risk mitigation strategies related to regulatory issues, privacy, competition and antitrust, and employment.
Join the conversation with attorney Matthew Suess, Civil Litigation Attorney with Rynearson, Suess, Schnurbusch & Champion. Matthew returned to Rynearson, Suess, Schnurbusch & Champion in 2021 after years working at a multi-national firm in San Francisco, California. He focuses his practice on insurance defense, complex commercial litigation, corporate law, and catastrophic tort cases. Matthew provides practical, hands-on advice to national and international clients in business transactions, risk management, and litigation, from Fortune-500 companies to closely-held corporations.
Matthew is licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and California, and has appeared in both state and federal courts in those jurisdictions. He is experienced in every aspect of litigation, from initial evaluation through trial.

Opportunity is Knocking: ABA LGBT Public Interest Scholarship | Apply by 4.28
The SOGI Commission is now accepting applications through April 28, 2023 for the LGBT Public Interest Scholarship for Summer/Fall 2023.
- This scholarship is intended for law students and/or recent law school graduates studying for the Bar who are either LGBTQ+ or who will be working in the LGBTQ+ space doing public interest work.
- The Scholarship will provide financial support to a first, second-, or third-year law student, or recent law graduate to enable the student or recent law graduate to work in the LGBTQ+ public interest arena.
- One or more scholarships of up to $5000 each are awarded annually, subject to the availability of funds and the recommendation of the Commission’s Scholarship Committee.
