NPLA was formed by students who were in the same position as you this time last year. They were searching for and struggling to find the right firms. They wanted firms that would help pay off student loans while providing work that is aligned with their values. They discovered that plaintiff-side firms were the best fit, but couldn’t find many at school OCIs.
Plaintiffs’ firms usually only hire a few summer associates and don’t have the resources to recruit as widely as corporate defense firms or government agencies. For this reason, few, if any, attend OCI. To address this, NPLA is hosting the first-ever national plaintiff-side job fair. We have seen tremendous interest from a diverse array of firms across the country – firms that want to actively hire students like you.
