The Seoul Office of Baker McKenzie will run a summer associate program in the months of July through August of 2019. This is a comprehensive 8-week programme and aims to give students the opportunity of experiencing first-hand what it is like to work at the Firm. In addition to getting to know the Firm’s culture, summer associates will participate in the training programme available to junior associates, and be exposed to the type of work typically undertaken by them.
The summer associate program is the main pathway into securing a full-time employment with the Firm, as summer associates who perform well during the programme will be offered a position at our Seoul office after they have completed their legal studies.
Experiences Required
To apply, candidates should be in their second or final year of study of their law degree programme, have strong academic results, fluent English and Korean language skills (written and spoken) and be firmly committed to establishing a legal career in Seoul.
