The New York State Board of Law Examiners announced that the July 2021 bar exam will be administered remotely. Plan to apply as soon as you are able as it is time sensitive.
New York Bar Registration
- Applications will be capped at 10,000
- Registration opens April 1st
About the Application
- Applications are less lengthy.
- Character and fitness portion of the process is not immediate (Takes place after you pass the bar.)
- Payment is required when you apply.
The New York State Board of Law Examiners state:
“Application to the July 27-28, 2021 bar examination will be open to all eligible applicants. However, the Board will cap the number of applications at 10,000. The application filing period for the July 27-28, 2021 New York bar examination is April 1 – 30, 2021. The application will close on April 30, 2021 or when the 10,000 cap is reached. Applicants shall apply through their BOLE Account in the Applicant Services Portal.”

The Practising Law Institute (PLI) invites WashULaw students to attend their presentation on the Patent Office Exam. Mark Dighton, PLI’s Director of Law School Relations and Administrative Director of their Patent Office Exam Course will lead discussions on:
