The Public Service Advisory Board and the Career Center are soliciting nominations for the Public Service Student of the Year Award. This award is presented to the graduating J.D. student who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to pro bono and public service while at WashULaw.
To nominate a 3L who you feel meets the requirements, please fill out this nomination form. Nominations are due by Sunday, April 25 at 11:59 PM CST. If you have questions about the nomination or selection process, please contact the Career Center.
3LS, PRO BONO HOURS DUE TOMORROW| 4.25
Graduation is right around the corner! This is a reminder that you must log all your pro bono hours, tomorrow, Sunday, April 25 at 11:59 PM CST in order to receive proper recognition for your pro bono hours. While this is not mandatory for graduation, it may be required in order to:
- meet your bar requirements,
- fulfill the pro bono pledge, or
- earn the Pro Bono Pledge Award or Dean’s Service Award
Please follow the instructions found in the Pro Bono Pledge Guide when logging your pro bono hours. If you have any issues, reach out to the Career Center at lawcareers@wustl.edu or email psabwustl@gmail.com.

APPLY TO THE 2022 BAKER DONELSON DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP! | 5.31
The 2022 Baker Donelson Diversity Scholarship application is now available! Three diverse rising 2L law students will be awarded a six-week, salaried 2L Summer Associate position for the summer of 2022 in one of Baker Donelson’s offices. Additionally, each recipient will be awarded $10,000, which will be paid prior to the student’s third year of law school, to help defray the cost of law school tuition and related expenses.

Selected students will be matched with a Holland & Knight attorney mentor who will provide them with insight into the legal profession and how to connect with the Tampa legal community. This flexible program allows mentors and mentees to choose when and how to stay connected with one another – whether through Zoom, emails or phone calls.
