Paul Hastings will be hosting a Virtual Brunch for first and second year law students interested in practicing in Intellectual Property on November 19, 2020 beginning at 12:00 PM, EST.
This virtual panel will provide students a glimpse into the Firm’s IP practice, diversity initiatives, and insight on our Summer Associate Program.

PUBLIC INTEREST LAW INITIATIVE’S PROGRAMS (PILI)
The Public Interest Law Intuitive has two exciting opportunities happening now and in the near future: The Graduate Fellowship Program and the Law Student Internship Program.
GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
PILI’s online application system for our Graduate Fellowship Program is open. To participate in this program, the graduating law student must have accepted an offer of employment from a firm that is willing to sponsor PILI Fellows. PILI has approved over 120 Fellow positions at 60 public interest agencies across Illinois.
LAW STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
PILI’s online application system for our Law Student Internship Program is open and for Summer 2021 will open for both 1Ls and 2Ls on December 1st at 10:00 a.m. CT. The PILI stipend is $6,000 for 400 hours of work.
PLEASE NOTE: All prospective Interns and Fellows must apply using PILI’s online application system. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and applicants can apply to up to 10 different public interest law organizations. It’s hard to believe that exams are just around the corner. Need a break from reading, outlining and studying? Set aside 45 minutes over the next week to update your application materials.
Remember, classes always come first. Whether your materials are an early draft or nearly perfect, upload your draft resume and/or form cover letter by Sunday, November 22nd. The Career Center will review your materials and return comments before you are finished with exams. Please upload all materials in WORD format.
All students planning to participate in our virtual on and off campus interview programs must have their materials approved prior to bidding.
