Are you looking for an unforgettable summer experience? Apply for an internship with the LGBT Bar! Every summer, we welcome interns from across the country and around the world at the LGBT Bar’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The LGBT Bar is looking for passionate and qualified undergraduates, graduates, or law students to intern for the organization. We offer three different summer internships:
Programs Intern: Assist with our ongoing programs and with our conference programming. Each year, we host the Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair, attended by more than 1,500 law students and legal professionals. As Programs Intern, you will help us prepare for the conference while interacting with some of the top legal minds in the country.
Development Intern: Assist with conference sponsorships and organizing the largest minority legal career fair in the country. Help ensure that law students and attorneys find their dream jobs, while also taking advantage of the opportunity to connect with our vast network of legal professionals.
Legal Intern: Assist with legal research and policy work. Experience the nonprofit world while interacting with pro bono counsel at Am Law 100 firms. Attend multiple events around the nation’s capital related to current policy and legal issues. Please note that this internship is open only to current law students and recent law school graduates.
Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter to positions@lgbtbar.org with the position they are applying for in the subject line of the email.
