The 2018-2019 Peer Career Advisor application is open!
Who are Peer Career Advisors?
Peer Career Advisors are an exceptional and diverse group of 2L and 3L students who advise fellow students on interviewing tips, resumes, cover letters, networking and various career strategies. Peer Career Advisors also serve as ambassadors, representing WashULaw with employers and guests. With their unique perspective, they provide counsel to the Career Center. Perhaps most importantly, they serve as valued confidants who can share first-hand career search experiences and tips with other students.
How are Peer Career Advisors selected?
We are grateful that so many of our students are willing to serve as Peer Career Advisors. The committee will strive to select a group of current students with diverse career paths and backgrounds.
Are Peer Career Advisors paid?
Yes. They are paid at the standard Research Assistant rate.
How many hours are required?
We like you to offer a minimum of 2 hours per week. We do not expect you to be available during exams or extremely busy times. Your coursework comes first.
