REGISTER NOW FOR THE 2018 EJW CONFERENCE AND CAREER FAIR!

The 2018 Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair will be October 26 & 27 near Washington, D.C.  This event is the largest national public interest law career fair in the country with public interest employers conducting interviews for internships and full-time jobs and hosting informal “Table Talk” sessions with over 1,200 students and recent graduates. Last year over 180 employers from around the country participated.

Registration is now open, and students have until September 14th to apply for open jobs and internships. Check out the most recent list of employers here.  Students are still eligible to register after this date and will still be able to participate in Table Talk and attend conference sessions.

One of the biggest hurdles to attending the Conference & Career Fair is affording the trip to DC.  Here is where you can find resources to help connect with other students for carpooling and hotel sharing. WashULaw will also reimburse students for some of their costs to attend, including your registration fee ($25) and some travel expenses (up to $75), totaling $100 of financial assistance to attend EJW.  Keep your receipts and stop by CCD to coordinate reimbursement.

Stay tuned – the Career Center will host an info session soon!

Note: Due to NALP guidelines, 1L students are not eligible to interview with employers during the Equal Justice Works Career Fair. However, 1L students may informally talk to employers during Table Talk on Friday and Saturday.
