Calling all workers’ rights, labor law, and public interest law students! PBF is thrilled to invite you to our upcoming National Law Students Workers’ Rights Conference! The 2023 NLSWRC will be held Friday and Saturday, October 13th & 14th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
It is important that the conference represents the rich diversity of the movement for workplace justice. We understand that conference travel expenses can be a barrier to participation, and we’re excited to continue our scholarship program to support labor-focused law students who might not otherwise be able to attend. We hope this scholarship supports our vision of a more equitable and inclusive conference experience.
We have 40 scholarships that include: 10 all inclusive scholarships covering travel, meals, hotel, and conference registration; 20 conference scholarships covering conference registration, meals, and hotel; and 20 local scholarships covering meals and conference registration.
If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please submit your application no later than August 31st, 12 midnight PT. Scholarship awardees will be notified no later than Sept 14th. In considering whether or not to apply, please know that we will look closely at your interest in workplace justice and any barriers to conference attendance that you share with us on the form.
