For the first time, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, the Illinois Attorney General, the Illinois State Appellate Prosecutor, the Cook County State’s Attorney, and the Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago are collaborating to showcase their local offices. They are expanding their efforts to increase diversity in legal hiring. There will be a one-hour panel discussion with the heads of office, i.e., Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, Office of the Appellate Prosecutor Director Patrick Delfino, and Chicago Corporation Counsel Ed Siskel. A chance to meet with the recruiting departments of each office will follow.
