- CSIS Debate Series: Does Democracy Foster Economic Growth in Sub-Saharan Africa? |Thursday, February 6 from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM in the Bryan Cave Moot Courtroom
- CSIS will pose the question, “Does democracy foster economic growth in sub-Saharan Africa?” to policymakers, journalists, entrepreneurs and scholars. Experts will face off to identify the advantages and disadvantages of democracy in Africa and to open a dialogue on a new framework for U.S. foreign policy toward the region. Audience members will vote key debate points and participate in Q&A.
- Africa Business Forum | Saturday, February 8th from 8AM-5:30PM in the Emerson Auditorium at the Olin Business School
- This will be a full day of engaging conversations, networking, and fellowshipping with individuals (including attorneys from Mayer Brown and Baker McKenzie) interested in all things related to Africa. All the panels include highly accomplished individuals that can offer insights, advice, and potential job opportunities!
