Have you ever considered
working in the Sunshine State, but you don’t know much about Florida’s legal
industry? Holland & Knight’s Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami,
Tallahassee, Tampa, and West Palm Beach offices invite current 1L students who
are interested in learning more about the Florida market to participate in our
1L Mentoring Program.
Selected students will be matched with a Holland & Knight attorney mentor
who will provide them with insight into the legal profession and how to connect
with the Florida legal community. This flexible program allows mentors and
mentees to choose when and how to stay connected with one another – whether
through Zoom, emails or phone calls.
If you are interested, please sign-up by completing this online form and include a resume,
law school transcript and a brief statement of interest (1 page limit), to
describe why you are interested in a particular city, or the Florida market
more generally, and what you hope to achieve from this mentoring program.
The deadline to apply is Friday, February 3, 2023.
Please Note: Spots for this program are limited and submissions will not be considered until all required attachments are received. Please do not apply until you have a complete 1L transcript available. Selected students will be notified on a rolling basis in February/March.
