Contrary to popular belief, accounting expertise is not required to excel in the rewarding field of tax law. In fact, you don’t even have to be a math whiz! You are invited to hear a panel of federal tax (and non-tax) attorneys discuss the variety of federal career opportunities in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and the Department of Justice, Tax Division. We will also discuss opportunities for attorneys who want to focus on federal labor and employment practices.
The panel will:
- Describe a typical day for experienced and new attorneys
- Focus on working for the Department of Justice, Tax Division, or the IRS Office of Chief Counsel
- Answer attendees’ questions.
