Why Join Faegre Drinker?
We are highly
invested in the growth and development of all our lawyers. As a summer
associate, our multi-faceted approach will provide you with key resources and
relationships that will be the foundation for your career. Our efforts include
the following:
- Our attorney resource group, the Diversity Collective, includes all lawyers, consultants and senior professionals who identify as members of underrepresented groups (primarily racial/ethnic and LGBTQ+). The Diversity Collective provides our summer associates with mentoring relationships and support throughout the Summer Program, which will help you transition into associate life.
- We work closely with more than 60 legal affinity organizations that provide professional development opportunities, leadership experiences, networking and support.
- We have proudly signed on to Diversity Lab’s “OnRamp200” – a new initiative aimed at bringing 200 women lawyers who have taken extended career hiatuses back into the legal profession by 2025.
- We have participated in Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Rule since its inception in 2017. We hold Mansfield Certification Plus status, making us one of the “trailblazing law firms” that have demonstrated meaningful progress in creating diverse leadership teams, which will lead to the systemic changes necessary to foster long-term inclusion and equity in the workplace.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are among our core values. We embrace three specific strategies to put these values into action: accountability, innovation and intentionality. If you join us, you’ll see that everyone here is critical in our efforts to be a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization.
