Alston & Bird is a great firm that takes pride in cultivating an environment that is warm, positive, and welcoming. I was fortunate enough to spend both my 1L and 2L summers at Alston & Bird and felt comfortable from the very first day. The people were genuinely friendly and seemed to truly enjoy their work. Despite their busy schedules, the attorneys, including partners, made significant effort to be available for advice or just a friendly hello.
Although my interest was in Intellectual Property, I had the opportunity to work on a wide array of meaningful projects. Both summers, I worked with attorneys from multiple practice groups and learned about several areas of law. I really appreciated the time the attorneys spent providing feedback and helping me develop my lawyering skills. I felt they had a genuine interest in my success and in getting to know me. Some of my best memories at Alston & Bird included participating in community service projects, grabbing coffee with associates, and having dinner at partners’ houses. I can’t wait to turn an amazing internship into an exciting, challenging, and rewarding career at Alston & Bird.
