The Public Interest Law Initiative presents Explore the Possibilities: Public Interest Law Opportunities Program this Saturday, October 1st from 10am – 1pm over Zoom (free; registration required).
This event is geared towards all law students with an interest in public service, however, it is particularly helpful to 1Ls who are quite literally exploring the possibilities and learning about potential career paths! This awesome event occurs annually and receives great reviews from students year after year.
The Explore the Possibilities: Public Interest Law Opportunities Program will include panelists from many Illinois and St. Louis public interest/legal aid agencies, including ACLU of Illinois, Arch City Defenders, Ascend Justice, Beyond Legal Aid, Center for Conflict Resolution, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Federal Defender, Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, Legal Aid Chicago, Legal Aid Society, Legal Council for Health Justice, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, National Immigrant Justice Center as well as government agencies including the Illinois Attorney General, Cook County State’s Attorney Office, Department of Justice, and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission!!
