If you have ever considered becoming part of the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps, the latest winter newsletter will answer many of your questions. Read Captain Morgan Herrell’s interview where she discusses the JAG Corps externship program as well as the Airforce ROTC Graduate Law Program.
Please know that the Graduate Law Program is not an internship or externship program. Instead, it is a unique Air Force JAG Corps entry process whereby selectees complete Air Force ROTC detachment, the Graduate Law Program and the One Year College Program provide 1Ls and 2Ls early opportunities to secure full-time positions with the Air Force JAG Corps following graduation.
For students who do not have access to an Air Force ROTC detachment, our summer programs allow them to gain experience with the JAG Corps and boost an application package to our Direct Appointment Program (3Ls and Alumni).
