Over the weekend of February 22nd-24th, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner will be hosting the St. Louis node of the world’s largest legal hackathon – the Global Legal Hackathon (GLH) – at T-REX off of Washington Avenue. This is the first time an event of its kind has been held in St. Louis and anyone in the local community is welcome to participate free of charge.
The aim of the GLH is to have teams “hack” and prototype solutions to issues that impact the business of law or that lead to public benefit. Frequently, the most creative ideas and solutions to such issues stem from the fresh perspectives and outside the box thinking of the next generation of attorneys. As such, we would love it if some of your students would be interested in participating. For the students, it would be an opportunity to work alongside attorneys, legal innovation professionals, technologists and local entrepreneurs on real-world problems and opportunities facing the legal industry.
