The New York State Bar Association is inviting applications for the Minority Fellowship in Environmental Law. It provides a $7,500 stipend for law students to spend the summer of 2019 working for an environmental government agency or nonprofit organization.

Eligible applicants are minority JD or LLM students who are either enrolled in a New York law school, or are permanent residents of New York and enrolled in any U.S. law school. The program’s purpose is to encourage minority law students to enter the field of environmental law.

The application deadline is December 12. Further information, eligibility requirements and an application form are available here.
