It has now been more than three years since McKenna Long & Aldridge merged with Dentons, the largest law firm in the world—and the leading law firm in the world!

As with most professional services sectors, the legal profession has undergone tremendous changes locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Dentons’ global platform provides opportunities to serve our clients in ways that most other law firms can only dream of. Whether a client’s primary focus is on the US market or they operate or market in other countries, their business, from supply chain to finance, is inextricably entwined in the global economy.

The Atlanta office works seamlessly with Dentons’ other offices to supports clients wherever they are located in the world, combining our office’s deep experience and local knowledge in litigation, public policy, real estate, technology and several other practices with Dentons’ extraordinary portfolio of capabilities and sectoral strengths.

The merger has also added significantly to our team’s government affairs expertise and influence. Eric Tanenblatt, global chair of Dentons’ Public Policy and Regulation practice, presides over a team that includes former national party officials, ambassadors, members of Congress, governors, state attorneys general and senior aides in federal and state executive and legislative branches.

McKenna Long & Aldridge’s longtime chairman, Jeff Haidet, is now chairman of Dentons US and continues to be deeply involved in Atlanta’s legal and business community. And I was recently named managing partner of the firm’s Atlanta office.

I am proud that the essence and values of McKenna Long & Aldridge remain strong as Dentons Atlanta continues to give clients a competitive edge in an increasingly complex and interconnected marketplace.
