Post-Bar Fellowship with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in Orange County, California
The Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) is currently accepting applications for its 2019 Post-Bar Fellowship program. To be eligible for the OCDA’s Fellowship Program, Fellows must graduate in good standing from a fully accredited ABA approved law school on or about May 2019. In addition, Fellows must take the California Bar exam in July 2019. Fellows must submit to and satisfactorily pass a background check.

The Fellowship is a nine month program commencing on or about August 2, 2019 and concluding on or about May 1, 2020 unless terminated sooner pursuant to the Fellowship Agreement.  Fellows will serve as a certified law clerk fulfilling prosecutorial duties under the supervision of an Assistant District Attorney for the period of August-November 2019. During this period, Fellows will be compensated at an hourly rate of approximately $20.01. (This hourly rate is subject to change). The Clark County District Attorney’s Office’s Summer Internship Program provides interns with invaluable opportunities for real practical prosecution experience. Interns will apply to practice in court under the Nevada State Bar’s Student Practice Certification. Each intern will have several supervising attorneys in our office to allow the intern ample chances to appear in court. Past interns have appeared in court on dozens of occasions during the course of their internships, arguing motions or other hearings, presenting misdemeanor trials, and conducting preliminary hearings.
