OCI 1 interview notifications will begin rolling out this afternoon! As selections come in, students will be notified and employers will be listed on the homepage of Symplicity, if their list has been returned.
When accepting interviews, be mindful of timelines if you have completed callbacks and/or have received offers with deadlines. Callback notifications from the previously mentioned programs may take up to 2 weeks. If you have another offer deadline, here is what you should do:
- Discuss your options with the Career Center. Options may include asking for an extension on your deadline, this is not a guarantee. Employers are not obligated to extend the deadline to accept.
- If you have an offer and receive interview invitations, you should only accept interviews from employers that YOU KNOW you would accept an offer from over the offer you currently hold.
- If you are holding offers, please be mindful of the recruiting process and hold no more than 2 offers, release the others. Collecting offers is not a game to play and is prohibited.
The final formal OCI session, OCI 2 is open for bidding and will close on Sunday, July 16th at 11:59pm CT. If you are still seeking (have not accepted an offer), you should take a look at the employers and bid on any, or all opportunities; you can always withdraw from OCI if you accept an offer after bidding closes.
