Applications are due January 31 forthe 2023 Valerie Zukin Memorial Fellowships in Immigration Law. These 10-week summer fellowships will pay $15,000 each and provide up-close experience and mentorship in removal defense.
In 2023, the California Collaborative for Immigrant Justice (CCIJ) and Immigrant Legal Defense (ILD) will each host one Fellow for a 10-week, full-time summer fellowship. The CCIJ Fellow must reside anywhere in California during the term of the fellowship. The ILD Fellow may reside anywhere in the United States.
Application deadline is 1/31/23. More details including application requirements are in the link above or here. Law students from backgrounds underrepresented in the legal field and/or those whose law school does not provide guaranteed summer public interest funding are especially encouraged to apply, but all applications that meet the minimum requirements (including Spanish proficiency) will be considered.
