Next summer, more than 167 law firms and corporations across the country will host virtual internships through the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2023 1L Scholars Program. This program helps strengthen the legal pipeline by offering diverse, first-year law students the opportunity to spend a summer working side by side with attorneys from LCLD Member organizations, including many Fortune 500 companies and Am Law 350 firms.
In addition to a meaningful professional experience, 2023 1L Scholars will also benefit from:
- Attending the 2023 1L LCLD Scholars Virtual Summit in May 23-25, 2023, to build relationships and develop professional skillsets. Click here to read the agenda from last year’s Summit.
- Virtual mock interviews and resume reviews with attorneys from Microsoft, along with other LCLD Member organizations, and the ABA.
- Career development resources and long-term connections via a dedicated LinkedIn group for 1L LCLD Scholars.
- LCLD community events throughout the summer.
