SUMMERING AT FOLEY
Our Summer Associate Program is designed to introduce first- and second-year law students to a career in the legal industry and give them a sense of what life at Foley is like and what to expect as an associate here. Spending the summer with us means more than stacks of briefs and endless document review. It means exposure to cutting-edge legal issues and high-profile matters, connections and engagement, community service, professional development, camaraderie, leadership, and much more — all starting on day one.
We invite all 1L candidates who are interested in pursuing a career at Foley to submit an application now. You can also visit our Careers pages to apply. All applicant materials will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting this month.

One of the many ways we demonstrate our commitment to fostering diverse legal talent is through our involvement with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). Foley is proud to be an LCLD Member organization and 2022 Compass Award winner. First-year law students who receive and accept an offer from Foley have the opportunity to apply for the 1L LCLD Scholars Program where they will receive valuable professional experience and unique opportunities for career development and relationship building. We also offer a Diversity Fellowship Program for second-year law students. This opportunity for 2Ls who share our values and demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion includes a $20,000 fellowship.
