Interested in the New Hampshire legal market? The Shaheen & Gordon Anti-Discrimination & Diversity Summer Program offers a unique summer employment opportunity for 2-4 students who have just finished their first year of law school. S&G Summer Interns will spend approximately 5 weeks rotating among our Concord, Dover, and Manchester, NH offices and our office in Portland, ME, doing varied, high-quality legal work with experienced attorneys, well-established in their fields. The Interns will spend the other 5 weeks working either at a prominent non-profit organization or inhouse at a private business with one of our non-profit or corporate partners. This match will take into account the interests of the Interns and the needs of our non-profit and corporate partners. Throughout the entire approximately 10 weeks, S&G will pay the interns consistent with the salary of a first-year associate at the firm.
Upon successful completion of the S&G Anti-Discrimination & Diversity Summer Program, Interns are eligible for an offer to return the following summer either to our firm or to one of our partnering organizations (for first year law students), an offer of employment from our firm or one of our partnering organizations, or, in the event that no positions are currently available, S&G would use the breadth and depth of our resources to help the Interns find employment after law school.
The S&G Anti-Discrimination & Diversity Summer Program is open to all first year law students, regardless of race, color, religion, citizenship, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, military service, disability, or any other characteristic or condition protected by applicable law.
