Finals can seem like a time when you feel there isn’t enough time. But you do need to take breaks so that you keep performing at a high level. Here are 3 of our recommendations to help reclaim and maintain your chill.
1.) Approach the Job Search with Support
You don’t need to balance studying and applying alone. Set a time between study sessions to meet with someone in the Career Center. We can help you game plan logistics. Just email us at LawCareers@wustl.edu.
2.) Meditate
It isn’t too woo-woo. Meditation can ramp up your ability to focus, concentrate, and improve your overall health. Apps like Headspace and Calm can guide you through sessions. Even 5 minutes can help you re-set.
3.) Laughter Yoga
Goat yoga is trendy, but likely you don’t have a goat on hand during lockdown, so this is the next best thing. The best medicine (laughter) paired up with yoga and created something that may make you feel silly, but can give your mind a lift.
