The deadline to apply for the Summer Public Interest Program is this Sunday, March 15th. All 2L students who are interested in pursuing a career in public interests are eligible to apply.
Before you apply there is still time to reach out the Career Center as you prepare your application.
Things to keep in mind:
- Consider how you are conveying your commitment to public interest, future career plans, dedication to diving back, substantiveness of summer employment and prior experience.
- Make clear if your summer job is funding contingent.
Applications for the 2L summer stipend are reviewed by an outside committee, so working toward a robust application is best. Remember, this is your opportunity to show the committee just how much you care about public interest.
