On June 11-12, 2009, an expanded group of experts, including judges and practitioners from international criminal tribunals, gathered for the Hague Intersessional Experts’ Meeting of the Crimes Against Humanity Initiative.  The meeting was held at Campus Den Haag of Leiden University and was co-sponsored by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences, and the City of The Hague. The meeting was generously funded by a leadership grant from Steven Cash Nickerson and by the United States Institute of Peace.
