It’s time for the Second Annual
New York State Public Defenders Career Fair!
The University at Buffalo School of Law, in conjunction with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services, the Chief Defenders Association of New York, the New York State Defenders Association, and the New York County Defenders Office will be hosting this hiring initiative again at UB. The format is table-talk, with opportunities for on-the-spot interviews.
All current students and recent graduates with interest in criminal law or public service are welcome to attend for free.

More than 20 criminal defense
providers will be available to meet with applicants to discuss public defense
opportunities throughout New York State. Many offices will be conducting on-site interviews for
internships and employment opportunities.

There is no deadline to register, but applicants who submit resumes by September 20 will have their materials forwarded in advance to the employers of their choice.
