In August 2017, the Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute at Washington University School of Law launched a documentary film Never Again: Forging a Convention for Crimes Against Humanity, which was screened at the 11th annual International Humanitarian Law Dialogs  in Chautauqua, New York.   Directed by Professor Leila Nadya Sadat, the James Carr Professor of International Criminal Law and Director of the Harris Institute, the film chronicles the steady effort to remedy a gap in international law to punish and prevent crimes against humanity.

Never Again features moving testimony from survivors of atrocity crimes, as well as calls from international experts working on this issue, to highlight that peace is not possible without justice, and that justice will come from the perseverance of global actors dedicated to the possibility of a better world.  To view the trailer for the film, schedule a screening, or see how you can help combat the scourge of crimes against humanity, visit the film webpage.

More recently, the film was accepted for the 26th annual St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF) as part of its Human Rights Spotlight selection and will be screened on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at 12:30 PM at Brown Hall Auditorium at Washington University.  Future screenings are planned for the St. Louis Holocaust Museum, the International Institute (St. Louis), the First Congregational Church of St. Louis, Brandies University, and Case Western Reserve School of Law.
